How’s the Real Estate Market in NW Bergen County?
Very Low Inventory – High Demand for Homes
Many new listings are being prepared to hit the market soon, so we expect a strong early Spring Market this year. Keep in mind, the “Spring Market” usually begins before Winter is over – as early as February (even if there’s snow on the ground).
Fortunately, with the help of low interest rates, the market is expected to remain strong through the first part of 2021. With the hot sellers market continuing, some really exceptional properties are going to become available. Homeowners who have been just thinking about selling are now realizing that this is the time to make a move, and more good inventory is great news for buyers!
Last year the traditional Spring Market was delayed due to the pandemic and the partial shutdown in March and April of last year. Then, once in-person showings and open houses resumed, the pent up demand pushed the market into overdrive. The market gained momentum through last Summer and has continued into 2021.
