Here are some places in our area to donate food, clothing, baby supplies, toiletries, accessories, shoes and coats. People in Ridgewood and NW Bergen County have always been generous and eager to help others in their times of need.

COMING UP – Food Drive by Ridgewood AM Rotary to benefit SSA and Father English food pantries, fourth Saturday each month, 9:00am-12:00pm, Stop and Shop in Ridgewood and Greenway Market (formerly Kings) in Ridgewood

DONATE Menstrual Products Drive by USR to benefit Oasis and Camp YPD in Paterson, Drop off anytime during the month of April on the Reeb Porch (the yellow house next door to the USR main building) Unitarian Society, 113 Cottage Place in Ridgewood
Great News for Local Charities (and local restaurants, too!)
Congratulations to the HealthBarn Foundation, the Ridgewood Chamber of Commerce and participating local restaurants! Lots of hard work and coordination went into securing a $1M state grant to provide 100,000 high-quality, nutrionally balanced meals for families facing food insecurity. At the same time, this $1M grant will also support local restaurants. We extend a collective, heartfelt thank you to all those involved in securing this grant. It truly is a WIN-WIN for our community!!
